So read the word of anthem, a war song of the french :

Allons enfants de la Patrie
Le jour de gloire est arrivé !
Contre nous de la tyrannie
L'étendard sanglant est levé
Entendez-vous dans nos campagnes
Mugir ces féroces soldats?
Ils viennent jusque dans vos bras.
Égorger vos fils, vos compagnes!

Aux armes citoyens
Formez vos bataillons
Marchons, marchons
Qu'un sang impur
Abreuve nos sillons

Que veut cette horde d'esclaves
De traîtres, de rois conjurés?
Pour qui ces ignobles entraves
Ces fers dès longtemps préparés?
Français, pour nous, ah! quel outrage
Quels transports il doit exciter?
C'est nous qu'on ose méditer
De rendre à l'antique esclavage!

Here is a video of the France VS New Zealand, watch the video, it's very amazing !!!!

The Maori's Culture

Maori CarvingThe Maori are the indigenous people of New Zealand, they are Polynesian and comprise about 14 percent of the country's population. Te reo Maori is the native language which is related to Tahitian and Hawaiian. It is believed that the Maori nz0220_tmirated from Polynesia in canoes around the 9th century to 13th century AD.

Dutch navigator Abel Tasman was the first European to encounter the Maori. Four members of his crew were killed in a bloody encounter in 1642. In 1769 British explorer James Cook established friendly relations with some Maori. By 1800, visits by European ships were relatively frequent. At this time, war and disease took their toll on the Maori till eventually their population dropped to about 100,000.

Maori CarvingIn 1840 representatives of Britain and Maori chiefs signed the Treaty of Waitangi. This treaty established British rule, granted the Maori British citizenship, and recognized Maori land rights.

The Haka is very particular:

The orgins of the haka are deeply rooted in the mists of time. It is a history rich in folklore and legend that reflects Maori heritage. New Zealand has grown up immersed in haka since first encounters between Maori and early European explorers, missionaries and settlers. The Haka It's very famous in the New Zealand the players are called "Alls Blacks" tap hands and knees; look at the picture it's very amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Waewae takahia kia kino !
Ka mate ! Ka mate ! Ka ora !
Ka mate ! Ka mate ! Ka ora !
Tenei te tangata puhuru huru
Nana nei i tiki mai, Whakawhiti te ra
A upane ! ka upane !
A upane ! ka upane !
